Harmony Inc. Area 5 Champions!
On the weekend of May 22-24 under the direction of Stuart MacMartin,
we took part in the Harmony Inc. Area 5 (Ontario) Convention in Richmond Hill.
By singing the “Let Yourself Go and Steppin’ Out” medley and “If I Can Dream”, we brought home gold medals and
the "Joyce Bradley Memorial Champion Chorus Award" which acknowledges the vast amount of time, energy, hard work and good old fashioned barbershop fun that went into achieving
it.
We also won the "Louise Malison Memorial Chorus Award" for achieving the highest performance score. Our success
qualifies us to take part in the International competition in Louisville, Kentucky in November.
To celebrate our success, we entertained our families and friends with a mini concert and reception on May 27 at St. Lawrence Anglican Church.
